The holidays are fully upon us.
We trust everyone is being sensible about holiday
shopping, hard as that is to do!
We joined about a dozen other Rotarians
in helping to raise funds and public awareness for the
Las Vegas Northwest Rotary Club's Eradicate Polio Work
Day on November 22nd. People in the US are so
lucky. Many folks thought polio was already
eradicated worldwide, but alas, it lives on in four
countries (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and India),
which means it's only a plane ride away from us.
We saw many parents explain what we were doing to their
kids, then sent the kids over to make a donation.
It was really touching.
