Shameless Plug
The holidays are upon us, and life becomes a whirl of activity. Although we left the Cajun fried turkey for the next holiday, we had a bountiful Thanksgiving. We're very grateful for the internet, which lets us shop and ship to all the kids and grandkids. We're also very thankful for the Cat Community Coalition of Clark County (aka C5), which lent us feral cat traps, and Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, which spayed and neutered what we sincerely hope are the last three unfixed neighborhood ferals which we captured Thanksgiving weekend, including bad boy tomcat, Orange - hooray! - father of most of the other cats.
One sad note is that Gris Gris, our sweet grey tailless cat, went over the Rainbow Bridge, passing very quickly from lymphoma of the liver the week before Thanksgiving. We'll miss her.
As I'm sure most of our readers have, we've helped make the holidays brighter for a child or two or provided a holiday meal for a less fortunate family. Then there are all the parties where we celebrate good fellowship and fun with friends. And all the holiday e-newsletters for our various clients.
All that's left is to put on the carols, break out the eggnog, and put up the tree.
Remember - the next regular edition of Dialysis Turn Over will be March 2012.
Happy holidays to all and a Happy New Year.
