Shameless Plug
Out with the old - in with the new. CBE has been busy. Dennis designed an e-newsletter for Toys4Smiles, a local charity which crafts wooden cars and trucks from donated wood and gives them away to children (particularly needy children) in the Las Vegas area. Judith has been stashing a couple of wooden cars in her rather capacious handbag to give away. The look on the kids' faces when a total stranger gives them a toy (after asking the parent, of course) is totally priceless. We're also working on a new client website, but it's not quite done yet.
Also, by the time this edition hits your inbox, Judith will have just returned from San Diego, where we completed a dialysis facility Medicare style self-survey for UCSD. On the home front, it's been a roller coaster. A door was left open and one cat scarpered - not a good thing in coyote-ridden Nevada. After giving up hope, we went to the local no-kill shelter and adopted two new housemates, young but not kittens. Then the run-away returned. Sadly, about a week ago, Freddy the Rat perished. He passed over the Rainbow Bridge. He was a very special cat and we'll miss his unique personality. And a Happy New Year to all.
